Terry is Gayle and Dave's teenage daughter, whose fashion sense, appearance and hygiene is picked on and degraded by her she-bear of a mother. Growing up under the iron first of Gayle's martial maternal force and the docile and demure Dave, Terry developed her own personality and interests (though she takes after father's natural inclination towards movement, him with ballroom and she with breakdancing).
Decidedly not impressed by her mother.
